Read Across America with Dr. Seuss! 2011
March 02 is Dr. Seuss’s birthday and NEA’s Read Across America Day! You should be able to find some (free) Seuss and reading events going on near you.
On Saturday February 26, 2011 (9a-11a) bring the kids to your local Target store to enjoy giveaways, coupons and hear Dr. Seuss favorites.
Target.com: Read Across America: Download the free printable of a Cat in the Hat hat to color and wear and a Lorax puppet. Many more non-Seuss printables can be found under the Start Reading and Activity Center tabs.
Read Across America: Learn more about Read Across America and find some great links.
Seussville: Seussville has a page dedicated to Read Across America that includes many free Dr. Seuss printables.
