Wordless-ish Wednesday: Grrrrr

Not entirely wordless, but not entirely wordful…

Last Saturday after attending Dr. Seuss Storytime at Target we stopped at a local Italian restaurant to eat. After dinner we ordered dessert. I ordered the chocolate cake and my mom ordered Adaline her own piece because…

1. She knew that I wouldn’t share mine
(This is true. I do love my chocolate. It’s not fair, but Jenn don’t share.)
and 2. She knew that I would eat whatever was leftover
(This is true too. Hey…order a third piece while you’re at it 😉 )

So, anyway here Adaline is enjoying her chocolate cake. And then…

As soon as I was done snapping these photos my mom said, “Adaline, honey, I love you, but you’re really not going to eat that whole piece of cake.” then my mom put her hand on Adaline’s fork and…

…Adaline growled at her!

Well, that’s my girl 😉 I wish I would’ve had the camera turned to video. My mom and I laughed so hard I thought I might pee my pants!

  1. Yes, I usually growl too when someone gets too close to my chocolate! 😉

  2. Ha! Pretty awesome that she growled at her. Totally understandable and much more cute than the typical toddler shriek of “MIIIINNNNEEEE!” Love it. Absolutely love it.
